- The Triforce
: This tattoo showed up on the right side of Cash's chest shortly after he started not only living with the Pride, but also proved that he could be accepting of those that most would turn away, as well as not shying away from life-threatening situations that are resulting from those friendships.
Much the same as the game that the tattoo seems to be based upon, there are three different aspects that this can offer Cash, depending on which of the three "pieces" of the tattoo is activated.
If "Power" is active, the musician is granted greater endurance for the more draining of his other abilities for about ten to twenty minutes, meaning that he can keep fighting longer, take a heavier hit, or endure the effects of his magic pendant for more than a few minutes at a time. The downside? He'll feel the exhaustion afterwards twice as hard, meaning that there's a good chance he'll collapse and/or faint, needing several hours to recover, even with his accelerated healing factor.
If "Wisdom" is active, Cash is given greater perception into any situation he might find himself in, noticing things that might have previously been missed, as well as coming up with strategies to overcome difficult obstacles standing between him (or someone close to him) and attaining either victory or conquering the problem at hand. As with Power, there's a major downside, and it comes in the form of him overthinking just about everything until the effect of Wisdom wears off, meaning he can come across as paranoid or neurotic - especially the first few times it activates, but even once he's used to it, he'll still overthink situations, and might start second-guessing himself, any decision he makes, and the motives of those around him... even if he's close to them.
"Courage" gives Cash the guts to follow through with any decision he makes, to protect those he cares about, and are weaker than he is - or just need his aid in general, no matter what they're like, or how prone to taking advantage of others they might be. He'll also be quick to stick up for the people he genuinely cares for, regardless of more dire consequences, specifically threat to his own safety or physical health. That's part of the downside, however; the boost to courage and confidence tends to make him more reckless than anything else, prone to bad judgement and acts that are likely to get him severely hurt, and will do so without a second thought.
Overall, there are good and bad aspects to any piece of the Triforce, and while some could be balanced out by the others, Cash can only have one active at any given time, and there's a "cool down" period of 24 hours between any one of them activating. "Power" is generally triggered by combat, "Wisdom" by being faced with a potentially dangerous decision or a need to try and figure out a way to keep himself (or others) as safe as possible, and "Courage" with a need to step up rather than turning and running.
It's probably a bad idea for him to rely on the tattoo heavily, and in time, he can learn to not let it affect him as heavily. The aspects will still alter his perception and judgement, but he can (somewhat) prevent them from overwhelming him and putting himself in heavy danger, messing with his mind, or trying to help those he doesn't feel deserves it.
Not terribly surprisingly, whichever piece is active will glow slightly in either red, blue, or green, though it's subtle, and not designed to stick out, and that glow will fade faster than the effects of the Triforce piece.Notes:
His FC has a Triforce tattoo in the same place, and it's very obvious - just making things match up on an IC level.Total points spent: 40 pointsTake Points from account:
